This is an original 8 x 16 inch mixed media (acrylic and oil painting) on stretched canvas. I had a lot of fun playing with runny acrylic mixture. I painted the Pelican using Geneva oil paints and added a glossy protective varnish.   

I left the edges unpainted because I really liked the effect the dripping paint created on the sides.
