This is an original 16 x 20 inch oil painting on a flat board canvas. I wanted to keep the moody dark shadows on his face and pop the background with color. This painting was created with Geneva oil paints and has a glossy protective varnish. 
 
Flat board canvas fit nicely in frames and also look amazing propped on a shelf.
